This means that insights from ValuesScan - an innovative web-based social audit measurement tool from Pental Consulting - will be married with EthicScan's leading edge research database and consulting expertise. ValuesScan is an e-based tool that allows CEOs and Board directors to empower employees to participate in an audit of their organization's performance. This tool has several elements:

• ValuesScan serves as a whistle-blower tool that simultaneously advises of vulnerabilities while protecting employees
• it is a divisional or business unit integrity tool that educates participants as they complete it on-line
• ValuesScan allows companies to assess their performance against anonymous companies from their same business sector
• it addresses not only governance and ethics, but also corporate responsibility, sustainability, corporate citizenship and other CSR themes
• ValuesScan incorporates (and measures performance using) standards from England, the United States and Canada
