Track 4: Ethics and Integrity

Integrating Anti-Corruption Compliance and CSR

Anti-corruption compliance and CSR programs are frequently designed, implemented and managed independently. The two have different objectives but significant potential overlaps. Companies can secure significant long-term benefits on both fronts by tailoring their efforts in both areas in conjunction. The panel will provide insights from experienced CSR, accounting and legal perspectives on the integration of anti-corruption compliance and CSR programs.

Discussion Questions:

Has new accountability or anti-corruption legislation affected your business or operations?

How and in what way has the amount you spend on oversight increased?

Is it easier or more difficult today to talk about responsibility in your sector?

What attitudes do you see existing today about the accountability of executives or boards?
